As you could probably tell from my blog last year, fashion isn’t really my thing. Unless, of course, it helps Hope Lodge.
Tonight, the Looks for Hope fashion show raised money and awareness for Worcester’s Hope Lodge. The duds came from Ike’s Den in Shrewsbury and Men’s Wearhouse, and the support came from everywhere (as you can see in the program).
Niche Hospitality, who brings Hope Lodge guests free dinner every Monday night, supported with raffle prizes and two owners modeling. Also modeling was local boxer Jose Rivera.
Host Stephen Donovan was hilarious for every suit and dress that was staged, whether the model was a former Hope Lodge guest or a doctor.
The highlight for me came when a Bay State Savings Bank rep announced that for every “Like” their Facebook page gets in October, they will donate $1 to Hope Lodge.
Thank you to Audrey for putting on this event, and thanks to everyone who supported it!
